ARA-------------------------The body of a 28-year-old man was recovered from an orchard in Bhojpur. The discovery of the body plunged the household into chaos. The victim has been identified as Lucky Paswan (28), a resident of Bamapali, Ward-7, within the Gajrajganj Outpost (OP) area.
The murder incident took place in the Barhabatra locality, falling under the jurisdiction of the Nagar Police Station. The victim's father, Sikendra Paswan, stated that on Sunday morning, after meeting his mother, his son left home accompanied by two friends. He noted that he could not identify the two young men accompanying his son. The group had gone to Singhi to hang out. Several villagers also reported seeing him walking around with his friends. A few months prior, the victim had been involved in a dispute with residents of Singhi; they had accused his son of theft. At that time, the Mufassil police had taken him to the station, but he was released as the allegations could not be substantiated. The individuals involved in the dispute had subsequently issued death threats against him. Following this altercation, he had left the state to work as a laborer. He had returned home just 10 days ago because his bail in a separate case had been cancelled. On Monday morning, the family received the news that his body had been found.
Sikendra Paswan has accused Jagdish and Dalda Paswan—residents of Singhi village—of murdering his son by luring him with food and drink, citing their previous dispute as the motive. Currently, the police are conducting an independent investigation into the matter. According to the preliminary death inquest report, the exact cause of death remains unclear; the cause will only be established once the post-mortem report is received. The deceased was the eldest of five siblings. His surviving family consists of his wife, Anita Devi, and a son, Omji. The news of his death plunged the household into chaos. The family members are inconsolable with grief. According to the death inquest report prepared by the police, the cause of death remains unclear. The actual cause of death will only be ascertained after the post-mortem report is received.
