ARA------------------------------A team from the Sahar police station arrested two miscreants—along with a weapon and an Alto car—near Sevatha Nat Tola during a patrol on Saturday. The arrested individuals are Sahul Kumar (son of Vinod Nat, resident of Azad Nagar under the Bikram police station area of Patna district) and Hussain Nat (son of Sai Nat, resident of Pawar village under the Pawana police station area of Bhojpur district).

SP Dixit stated that the Sahar police had received a tip-off that two individuals were present in Sevatha Nat Tola carrying illegal weapons. They were allegedly threatening people with a pistol and demanding extortion money. Acting on his instructions to verify the information and take necessary action, the Sahar police team moved quickly and raided the location.

Upon seeing the police, both miscreants attempted to flee but were apprehended after being cornered with the help of villagers. A formal search of the two men led to the recovery of the weapon and magazines. A four-wheeler and a mobile phone were also seized from them. The police have registered an FIR against both accused under the Arms Act and are proceeding with the necessary legal action.
