TEJ PRATAP’S ARREST IS THE SAMRAT GOVERNMENT’S DICTATORSHIP:ROHINI ACHARYA

PATNA-------------------Rohini Acharya has launched a scathing attack against the Samrat government over the arrest of her brother, Tej Pratap Yadav. She termed the arrest an act of dictatorship by the Samrat government.

Rohini Acharya has taken a stand against the Samrat government following Tej Pratap's arrest.

Patna: Former Bihar minister and Jan Shakti Janata Dal president Tej Pratap Yadav was arrested and sent to jail by the Patna Police. He is accused of inciting violence during a protest regarding the NEET paper leak. Meanwhile, his sister Rohini Acharya has launched a fierce attack against the Bihar government over the arrest. Lashing out at the administration, she described the move as a sign of the Samrat government's dictatorship, asserting that supporting the agitation of students and youths is not a crime.

Lalu Yadav's Singapore-based daughter, Rohini Acharya, targeted Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary in a tweet, raising pointed questions. She asked, "Bihar asks the Chief Minister: Is it a crime to support the movements and protests by students and youths demanding improvements in the education system?" She alleged that the Bihar police arrested Tej Pratap Yadav based on baseless and false accusations, calling it an open violation of democratic rights.

She stated that raising one's voice for the issues faced by students, youths, and the general public is the fundamental right and duty of every citizen. She claimed that Tej Pratap Yadav was arrested out of a spirit of vendetta for exercising this very right and fulfilling this duty. In her tweet, Rohini Acharya further stated that the arrest made in connection with the protest is clearly part of a repressive, dictatorial move to stifle the dissent rising against the government. The government is misusing the administration and police force to intimidate political opponents and undermine the impact of public movements.

She questioned the nature of this justice and the prevailing norms, asking: "What kind of justice, trend, or practice is this, where a person accused of heinous crimes becomes the Chief Minister, while an innocent individual—who struggles and raises their voice for the country's youth and future—is framed on false charges and sent to jail?"
