Rahul Gandhi Pays Emotional Tribute to Rajiv Gandhi on 35th Death Anniversary

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi paid a heartfelt tribute to his father and former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his 35th death anniversary by sharing an emotional childhood photograph on social media.

In a touching post shared on X, Rahul Gandhi remembered his father’s vision for the nation and pledged to continue working towards fulfilling his dream of a skilled, prosperous, and strong India. He wrote, “Papa, I will fully shoulder the responsibility of realizing the dream of a skilled, prosperous, and strong India that you envisioned. Your teachings, your values, and your memories will always remain with me.”

Senior Congress leaders also gathered at Vir Bhumi in New Delhi to pay homage to the late Prime Minister. Among those present were Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.

Priyanka Gandhi’s children, Miraya and Raihan Vadra, were also present during the tribute ceremony, adding an emotional family touch to the remembrance event. The occasion witnessed party leaders and supporters remembering Rajiv Gandhi’s contributions to the country and his legacy in Indian politics.
