ARA---------------------------A *Bhoomi Pujan* and foundation-laying ceremony was held on Tuesday for the construction of the new Bihiya Block-cum-Circle office building in the district. Local MLA Rakesh Ranjan performed the customary ground-breaking ritual and laid the foundation stone for the new building. During the event, public representatives and local residents hailed the construction of the new office building as a significant step towards the region's development.

Following the foundation-laying ceremony, MLA Rakesh Ranjan stated that the government is committed to the holistic development of the area. He noted that the construction of the new Block-cum-Circle office building would not only accelerate administrative operations but also provide great convenience to the general public. He added that the new building would be designed to house all offices related to the Block and Circle administration within a single complex. This will eliminate the inconvenience for officials, staff, and public representatives of having to travel to different locations to work, and will also save time.

The MLA stated that currently, because various offices are located at different sites, the general public has to run from pillar to post to get their work done. Once the new building is ready, the relevant officials and staff will be available to the public at a single location. This will facilitate the processing of tasks related to government schemes, certificates, revenue matters, and other administrative issues. He added that the construction of an office building equipped with modern amenities would make the administrative system smoother and more effective.

The event was attended by several public representatives, local dignitaries, and BJP workers, including Mukhiya Dinesh Singh, Nutan Gupta, Ram Shabd Singh, Chhotu Shastri, Ranjit Kumar, Shubham Keshari, Satyendra Ojha, former Pramukh Ram Sujan Singh, former Zila Parishad member Nand Kumar Ojha, PACS Presidents Rishikesh Ojha and Vishnu Ojha, Ram Babu Gupta, Vivek Ojha, Rakesh Tiwari, former ATMA President Ravindra Ojha, Shashi Bhushan Singh, Shyam Kumar 'Munu', Ravindra Prasad, Ganesh Rai (alias Muna Rai), Haricharan Rai, and Rajesh Mishra.
