MISCREANTS SNATCHED GOLD CHAIN, TWO ARRESTED

ARA-------------------------Near Kosihan Bridge in the Chandi police station area of ​​Bhojpur district, bike-borne miscreants robbed a truck driver—a resident of Chhapra—at knifepoint. The two miscreants fled after the robbery.

The victimized truck driver subsequently reported the incident to the Chandi police. Acting swiftly upon receiving the information, Chandi Station House Officer (SHO) Rakesh Roshan arrested both miscreants and recovered the gold chain stolen from the driver. Additionally, the motorcycle and two mobile phones in their possession were seized.

According to reports, the arrested individuals are Abhishek Kumar (son of Rajeshwar Prasad Yadav, resident of Bhadwar village) and Manu Kumar (son of Namendra Singh Yadav, resident of Hardas Tola), both from the Chandi police station area. Superintendent of Police (SP) Raj released a press note confirming these details.

It is reported that the truck driver, Vishal Kumar—a resident of Saran (Chhapra) district—was driving his truck towards Nasriganj. Near Kosihan Bridge, Manu Kumar and Abhishek Kumar overtook the truck and stopped their motorcycle directly in front of it.

They then threatened him with a knife, snatched the gold chain from his neck, and fled. Following this, Vishal Kumar lodged an FIR against two unidentified miscreants at the Chandi police station. After the FIR was registered, the police arrested both individuals.

Police sources indicate that both Manu Kumar and Abhishek Kumar have prior criminal records. Manu Kumar had previously been jailed for robbery cases under the Koilwar and Chandi police stations and had been released on bail only a few days prior to this incident.
