INSTALLATION CEREMONY OF LIONS CLUB ARA MAURYA

ARA------------------------The installation ceremony for the new term's office bearers of Lions Club Ara Maurya was held at the local Red Cross Building auditorium. Lion Jayprakash Narayan served as the event chairman, while Lion Umesh Kumar Sinha conducted the proceedings. The ceremony was jointly inaugurated by Padma Shri Dr. Jitendra Kumar Singh (an oncologist from Patna), Bhojpur Civil Surgeon Dr. Shivendra Kumar Sinha, and former Additional Chief Medical Officer Lion K.N. Sinha. The chief guest was Lion Pradeep Kumar Khetan, District Governor of Lions District 322E, with Lion Nanda Garg and Lion Sanjay Awasthi attending as Guests of Honour. Lion Dr. K.N. Sinha administered the membership oath to new members Rakesh Kumar Singh, Babli Kumari, and Jayprakash Ji, while also providing a detailed overview of the organization; he noted that the Lions Club operates in nearly 200 countries, boasting over 1.4 million members and 47,000 clubs worldwide, making it the largest voluntary organization globally. The club's mission focuses on eradicating blindness and protecting the environment, guided by the motto "We Serve." Lion Dr. Madan Mohan Dwivedi assumed the role of President for the current term, and Lion Rajesh Kumar Gupta took charge as Secretary. Dignitaries praised the club's service initiatives and pledged their continued support. The new President, Dr. Madan Mohan Dwivedi, resolved to execute various service programs with full dedication and commitment during his tenure.
