ARA--------------------------On Sunday, the Krishnagarh police (Bhojpur district) conducted a special awareness campaign for female students at a government-recognized 'High Training Center' located in Saraiya Bazaar, within the police station's jurisdiction. The program was led by Station House Officer (SHO) Roshan Kumar.

The primary objective of the campaign was to raise awareness among the students regarding women's empowerment, legal rights, self-defense measures, and protection against cybercrime.

Addressing the gathering, Sub-Inspector (SI) Pooja Kumari emphasized that it is crucial for every woman and girl to be aware of her rights.

She stated that in the event of molestation, domestic violence, cybercrime, or any form of harassment, one should immediately inform the police instead of panicking or remaining silent. The police are always ready to ensure the safety of the public and provide assistance.

During the session, police officers provided detailed information to the female students regarding online fraud, the dangers of clicking on fake links or sharing OTPs, the safe use of social media, and precautions to be taken on digital platforms.

Additionally, the session highlighted laws related to women's safety, crimes against children, and effective self-defense measures.

The officers urged the students to use social media responsibly, refrain from sharing personal information with strangers, and immediately report any suspicious activity to the police.

They also encouraged the students to utilize police helpline services, such as Dial-112, in case of emergencies.

During the program, the students asked various questions regarding women's safety, cybercrime, and legal rights; the police officers addressed their queries by providing detailed explanations.

Faculty members from the training center, police officials, and a large number of female students were present on the occasion.
