ARA-------------------------A young man was attacked in Ara, Bihar, around 9 p.m. in the night. The incident occurred in Keshavpur village, under the Barhara police station area of ​​the Barhara assembly constituency. Sujit, a 30-year-old man, was seriously injured in the attack and has been admitted to Dr. Vikas Singh's clinic in Babu Bazar for treatment.

Dr. Vikas Singh, who is treating him, stated that the young man was not shot, but rather has a long, deep knife wound on his back. He has suffered extensive bleeding and is undergoing treatment. According to the doctor, a transfusion of 8 to 4 units of blood is likely. The patient's condition remains critical.

Suraj, the injured young man's elder brother, reported that the incident occurred in Keshavpur village. There is a tent house next to their house. At night, a young man, apparently drunk, came in and was gazing around with a bottle of liquor in his hand. No one was present in the tent house at the time.

According to Suraj, Sujit was sitting outside the house. He asked the accused why he was peeping inside. The accused asked him to lower his voice and threatened to identify himself. As the argument escalated, the accused first slapped him, to which Sujit responded two or three times.

It is alleged that the accused then threatened, "I'll have you shot right now." The attack followed shortly after, leaving Sujit seriously injured.

The family claims the accused is from Keshavpur village, although Suraj lives in Delhi and they do not know him personally. According to locals, the police have arrested two accused and recovered a country-made pistol.

The incident occurred in the Barhara police station area of ​​Bhojpur district, Bihar. Police are investigating the entire matter and questioning the accused is ongoing.

The injured youth's condition remains critical. The family has demanded strict action against the culprits.
