ARA--------------------------On April 25, 2026, Shri Krishna Chandra Dubey—a retired Deputy Superintendent of Police and the author of several books, including *Bhuvan Bhaskar* and *Chaitanya Khaki*—passed away at his residence in Mansa Pandey. In his memory, a tribute meeting was organized by the Bhojpur District Hindi Sahitya Sammelan (Hindi Literary Conference) at the residence of Professor Dr. Diwakar Pandey, presided over by the Sammelan's District President, Professor Dr. Baliraj Thakur. Remembering the late Shri Krishna Chandra Dubey, Professor Thakur noted that Shri Dubey was the son of freedom fighter Haripal Dubey. He was a police officer of rare integrity. After his retirement, he dedicated himself to the service of Hindi literature and, in his personal life, never failed to wear a 'Gandhi cap.' Offering a heartfelt tribute, the Sammelan's General Secretary, Professor Nandji Dubey, remarked that Shri K.C. Dubey was his classmate and a close, inseparable friend; with his passing, he has lost a true companion. Dr. Diwakar Pandey stated that the demise of Shri Krishna Chandra Dubey constitutes a profound loss to both the literary and cultural spheres. On this occasion, tributes were also offered by Professor Ayodhya Prasad Upadhyay, Brahmeshwar Dasaundhi, Shivdas Singh, litterateur Jitendra Kumar, and teacher Rakesh Tiwari. Musician Shri Rakesh Kumar Mishra paid a poignant tribute to Shri K.C. Dubey by singing a *bhajan* (devotional song) from the *Kavitavali*. Finally, Professor Dr. Nandji Dubey read out a written condolence resolution, which was subsequently passed by the gathering.
