ARA-----------------------------Chaos reigned at the Shahpur Nagar Panchayat office on Monday when a police team unexpectedly arrived amid preparations for the Holi Milan celebration. While police regularly patrol the block premises for security reasons, the police's arrival inside the Nagar Panchayat office during the Holi Milan celebration has sparked heated debate.

Following this incident, the city administration on Monday took strict measures to strengthen the office's security and order. City Executive Officer Neshat Alam issued a formal order to monitor individuals entering the office premises. Under this new directive, it is now mandatory to maintain a complete register containing the details of every person entering the office.

The Executive Officer has assigned special security responsibilities to the city's sanitation supervisor, Rameshwar Nath. He has been instructed to record the name, address, and detailed work details of every person entering the office in the register. Only after proper checking and ensuring identification will any person be allowed to enter the office.

The Nagar Panchayat administration has clearly warned that any negligence or laxity in the operation of this new system will be taken seriously and strict disciplinary action will be taken against the guilty employee. In order to make the system transparent and effective, official information regarding this has been sent to the Chief Councilor, Deputy Chief Councilor and all the Ward Councilors. Also, public representatives have been requested to provide their full cooperation to the deputed personnel for the security and smooth functioning of the office.
