PATNA---------------------------The Kolkar family is continuously on strike demanding justice in the famous Bunty Yadav murder case of the capital Patna. Meanwhile, Bhojpuri superstar Khesari Lal Yadav met the victim's family and consoled them. During this, Khesari made a sharp attack on the ground reality of liquor ban in Bihar and also raised questions on the functioning of the police.

This tragic incident took place on July 6, when Bunty Yadav, a shopkeeper from a market near Patna Junction, was kidnapped in public. The video of this kidnapping went viral on social media. After this, Bunty's body was recovered from Athamalgola area on July 11, due to which anger spread in the area.

The family alleges that when they reached the police station after the kidnapping, the police did not take the matter seriously. The family members claim that if the police had acted on time, Bunty's life could have been saved. Due to this negligence, four policemen including an ASI have been suspended. The family has also alleged that Bunty was opposing the sex racket operating in the area, due to which he was murdered.

Taking action in this case, the police arrested the main accused Ravish alias BC by shooting him in the leg during an encounter. Police say that Bunty Yadav himself was associated with the liquor business and he was murdered over a dispute over money transactions and liquor with the main accused.

Khesari Lal Yadav completely rejected these claims of the police. Khesari, who reached the protesting family, said, "When the government fails to hide its failure, it starts blaming the deceased." He claimed that home delivery of liquor is being done from door to door in Bihar, but instead of taking action against the real smugglers, the police are defaming the victims.

Khesari Lal Yadav has also appealed to other fellow artists of Bhojpuri industry to come forward in this difficult time and provide financial help for the future of Bunty's children. Also, he has demanded from the government that proper government assistance should be given to Bunty's family and an impartial investigation should be conducted in this case and the accused should be given strict punishment.
