BHABHUA-------------------------A man lost his life in a road accident near Sadaspur, within the jurisdiction of the Mohania Police Station. The deceased has been identified as Pramod Bed—son of Rajendra Bed—a resident of Sadaspur village in the Mohania police station area. Enraged villagers blocked the National Highway, demanding compensation for the victim's family and the immediate arrest of the truck driver. Providing details regarding the incident, Mohania DSP Pradeep Kumar confirmed that one person had died in the road accident. The body has been sent to the Sadar Hospital in Bhabhua for a post-mortem examination.
The SDPO stated that the DCM truck involved in the incident has been seized, and further legal action is underway. Officials who arrived at the scene provided immediate financial assistance of ₹20,000 to the bereaved family. Mohania SDM confirmed the fatality resulting from the road accident and assured the family that whatever compensation amount is applicable under government norms would be disbursed to them by the state administration.
