District Magistrate (DM) Pratibha Rani inaugurated the program by lighting the ceremonial lamp; the event was attended by PACS Presidents, Managers, and representatives of Vyapar Mandals (Trade Bodies) from across the district.

BHABHUA-------------------------With the objective of making the rural economy digital and transparent, a significant training-cum-workshop was organized at the local Prasad Utsav Hall. District Magistrate (DM) Pratibha Rani inaugurated the program by lighting the ceremonial lamp; the event was attended by PACS Presidents, Managers, and representatives of Vyapar Mandals (Trade Bodies) from across the district.
**Development as 'Bank Mitras':** The primary objective of the workshop was to develop PACS (Primary Agricultural Credit Societies) into 'Bank Mitras' (Banking Correspondents). Emphasis was placed on enhancing their efficiency by promoting digital transactions.
**PACS Computerization:** In accordance with directives from NABARD and the Central Government, specialized technical training was provided to facilitate the 100% computerization of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS). This initiative will enable PACS to establish direct connectivity with District and State Cooperative Banks.
**Effective Implementation of Schemes:** Experts shared detailed information on various topics, including the 'Mukhyamantri Harit Krishi Yantra Yojana' (Chief Minister's Green Agricultural Machinery Scheme), the 'Bihar State Crop Assistance Scheme', fertilizer trading, and the operation of CSCs (Common Service Centers).

The program was presided over by Jitendra Kumar Singh, Joint Director (Audit) of the Tirhut Division. Distinguished guests present on the occasion included Satish Singh (DDM, NABARD), Vidyasagar Ram (District Audit Officer), Madhu Priya (Chairperson, The Sitamarhi Central Cooperative Bank), and Ravi Kumar Singh (District President, Sheohar).
Several prominent representatives attended the training session, including Ranjan Kumar Singh (PACS President, Tajpur), Haran Mahto (Sarsaula Khurd), Amlesh Kumar (Vishambharpur), Mohammad Mustafa, Ajay Kumar, and Dr. Sanjeev Kumar (Basant Patti).
