BHABHUA-----------------------------Under the leadership of Jan Suraj Party District President Dr. Ramadhar Sah, a candlelight march was organized to protest the case involving the fatal shooting of a delivery boy from Bihar by a police constable in Delhi. The march culminated at Zero Mile Chowk, where tributes were paid to the victim and a demonstration was held.

Jan Suraj Party District President Dr. Ramadhar Sah stated that on the night of April 26, 2026, in the Dwarka area of Delhi (specifically the Jafarpur Kalan/Bindapur region), Pandav Kumar (23)—a resident of Bihar's Khagaria district who worked as a delivery boy—was allegedly murdered by Delhi Police Head Constable Neeraj Balhara. The party has expressed strong condemnation regarding this brutal killing.

Jan Suraj Party member Lavli Prasad reported that, according to eyewitnesses and media reports, the accused constable was intoxicated and became enraged upon realizing that Pandav was a "Bihari," following which he opened fire. The deceased, Pandav, was returning from a birthday party with his friend Krishna when the Head Constable stopped them; an altercation ensued, leading to the shooting.

Jan Suraj Party member Ajay Kumar Singh confirmed that Pandav died on the spot, and his companion also sustained a gunshot wound. The accused constable has been arrested and placed under suspension. Pandav Kumar was a resident of Khargi Tirasi village, located in Ward No. 15 of Tetarabad Panchayat, under the Gangaur police station area in Khagaria, Bihar. For the past eight years, he had been residing with his family in Prajapati Colony, Uttam Nagar, Delhi.

Jan Suraj Party member Sudhir Gupta provided details regarding the family: Pandav is survived by his father (Ganesh Singh), his mother, a brother (Vikas), and a married sister. His father is ailing, and his younger brother suffers from tuberculosis. His mother used to support the family by working as a daily wage laborer. A few years ago, Pandav Kumar worked as a YouTube reporter; however, when that income proved insufficient to cover his household expenses, he began working as a delivery boy for Zomato. Saturday marked the second birthday of the son of his friend, Rupesh Kumar. Rupesh Kumar resides in Jafarpur Kalan. Condemning the incident in which he was shot dead by the Delhi Police, the Jan Suraj Party demands action.
