POLICE PERFORM DUTIES IN CHALLENGING CONDITIONS

ARA------------------------In a commendable initiative aimed at promoting social welfare and road safety, the Shahabad Milk Union, Ara, distributed helmets to traffic police personnel on Monday. Amit Kumar Suman, Managing Director of Sudha Dairy, presented high-quality helmets to 10 police personnel deployed to manage traffic in the Bhojpur district.

Traffic DSP Manoj Kumar Sudhanshu and Bank of India Chief Manager Subodh Kumar Sharma attended the event as chief guests. Speaking on the occasion, Managing Director Mr. Suman remarked that police personnel—who maintain the district's traffic flow and perform their duties amidst scorching heat and adverse conditions—are the protectors of our society. Their safety is just as important as that of ordinary citizens.

Appreciating Sudha Dairy's initiative, the Traffic DSP stated that road safety is not solely the police's responsibility; the participation of social and commercial institutions in this regard is highly praiseworthy. He also urged the general public to mandatorily wear helmets while riding two-wheelers and to adhere to traffic rules.

Senior Sudha Dairy officials S.S. Srivastava, Rakesh Kumar Keshri, Himanshu Kumar, Shubam Kumar, and Pankaj Kumar, along with traffic police personnel Chandan Kumar, Manoj Kumar, and Basuki Kumar, were present at the event.
