PM VISHWAKARAMA SCHEME OFFERS NEW DIRECTION TO ARTISANS

BHABHUA-----------------------A one-day awareness program on the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Scheme was organized on Thursday at RSETI, Shivhar, by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Facilitation Office (MSME-DFO), Muzaffarpur.

The objective of the program was to motivate artisans and beneficiaries to become self-reliant entrepreneurs by providing information on the scheme's provisions, digital technology, branding, marketing, export promotion, and various MSME schemes.

The General Manager of the District Industries Centre (DIC) attended the program as the chief guest.

Representatives from various banks, including Bank of Baroda and the Gramin Bank, provided detailed information to beneficiaries regarding loans, banking facilities, and financial assistance.

During the technical session, Shitanshu and K.P. Singh highlighted the importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital technology, branding, and online marketing.

They explained that by adopting modern technology, artisans could take their products to national and international markets. Additionally, information was provided regarding the generation of QR codes for beneficiaries and integration with digital payment systems.

Bhimsain from MSME-DFO, Muzaffarpur, discussed in detail the objectives and benefits of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, as well as its role in promoting self-employment.

The program concluded with an interactive session between experts and beneficiaries, offering valuable guidance on business expansion and maximizing the benefits of government schemes.
