ARA---------------------------A district-level review meeting of the Education Department was held under the chairmanship of Bhojpur District Magistrate (DM) Manesh Kumar Meena. The meeting involved a detailed review of the condition of school buildings, the teaching system, school inspections, pending tasks on online portals, measures to curb student dropouts, and the progress of school buildings currently under construction. It was reported that 45 school buildings requiring repair have been identified in the district so far. The DM directed that the identification of the remaining buildings be completed within the next two days. He explicitly stated that teaching activities must not be conducted in dilapidated or unsafe buildings under any circumstances and that the safety of children must be given top priority. He ordered an intensive campaign to strengthen the academic system for classes 9 through 12 and to improve board examination results. He emphasized the need for regular reviews of lesson plans, students' notebooks, weekly tests, and learning levels within the schools. The DM remarked that the objective of inspections is not merely to find faults but to enhance the academic environment and improve students' learning outcomes.

The DM instructed that all pending tasks related to school-specific online portals be completed within two days. Meanwhile, directives were issued to ensure the completion of school buildings currently under construction by October-November 2026 without fail. He also emphasized conducting 'mega cleanliness drives' in schools and regularly organizing activities such as sports, music, dance, morning assemblies, and special classes.
