ARA--------------------------Following the instructions of the District Magistrate of Bhojpur, Tanay Sultania, and prioritizing public safety after water inundated the Shahpur-Banahi road, immediate measures—including red markings, warning signage, and public announcements—have been implemented. Additionally, the Executive Engineer of the Rural Works Department is overseeing safety measures on the submerged road, involving the use of brickbats and sandbags.

Furthermore, to prevent any potential accidents, traffic movement on the said road has been prohibited with immediate effect. The District Magistrate has directed the concerned officials to maintain continuous surveillance at the site until water levels normalize and to ensure that no one traverses the submerged road.

An on-site inspection of the situation was conducted by the Assistant Disaster Management Officer (Bhojpur), the Executive Engineer (RWD), and the Circle Officer (Bihiya). During the inspection, while reviewing safety arrangements, officials and staff were instructed to maintain constant monitoring of the road until water levels return to normal and to advise the public to use alternative routes.
