GIRL STUDENTS APART INFORMATION ABOUT LEGAL RIGHTS

ARA--------------------------Under the guidance of Bhojpur Superintendent of Police Raj, the Babura Police Station conducted a special awareness campaign at the 'Ramanuj Girls Coaching Center' with the aim of promoting women's safety and awareness. During the event, female students were provided with detailed information on key topics such as women's empowerment, legal rights, self-defense, and cybersecurity.

Police officials informed the students that various legal provisions exist for the safety of women and girls. They were encouraged to contact the police without fear and exercise their rights in the event of molestation, harassment, domestic violence, or any other crime. Additionally, the students were taught practical self-defense techniques to ensure their safety during emergencies. The police team also emphasized the importance of building self-confidence and remaining vigilant.

The rising incidence of cybercrime was also discussed in detail. Students were educated about online fraud, malicious links, OTP and banking scams, fake social media profiles, cyberbullying, and digital security. The police advised them not to share personal information, bank details, or OTPs with strangers and to report any suspicious activity to the police immediately.

Seek immediate police assistance in emergencies: Police officials assured the students that they should not hesitate to seek police help during any emergency. They were also informed about women's safety helplines and rapid police assistance services. Bhojpur Police stated that the objective of such awareness campaigns is to boost the students' confidence, provide legal information, and make them vigilant against cyber and social crimes, enabling them to play a significant role in society as safe and informed citizens.
