PROCESS FOR ARA-BALIA FOUR-LANE PROJECT BEGINS

ARA---------------------------There is an atmosphere of joy in the region following the commencement of the process for the much-awaited Ara-Ballia four-lane road project, which will connect Bihar and Uttar Pradesh with improved road connectivity. Welcoming this significant initiative, the Barhara MLA expressed gratitude to both the Central and Bihar governments, describing the move as historic for the region's overall development.

The MLA noted that he had long been advocating—across various platforms—for the construction of a permanent bridge at Mahuli Ghat and a four-lane road connecting Ara to Ballia. The initiation of this ambitious project, estimated to cost around ₹1,564 crore, has now raised hopes that this long-standing demand will finally be met.

He emphasized that the project extends beyond mere road construction; it will significantly strengthen connectivity between Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Travel time will be reduced, commuting will become smoother, and the transportation of goods will gain new momentum. Furthermore, sectors such as trade, industry, agriculture, and tourism are expected to reap substantial benefits.

The Barhara MLA stated that the four-lane road would provide local residents with superior transport facilities, create new investment opportunities, and bolster the region's economic growth. He expressed confidence that the construction work would be completed within the stipulated timeframe, directly benefiting millions of people across Bhojpur, neighboring districts, and the border areas of Uttar Pradesh.

Expressing his gratitude to the Central and Bihar governments, he remarked that this project would steer the region's development journey in a new direction in the coming years and establish the Ara-Ballia route as a modern, safe, and efficient road network.
