Laal Hit Janta Party Emerges as Counter to CJP’s Protests Against CEC Gyanesh Kumar
NEW DELHI: A group calling itself the Laal Hit Janta Party has emerged as a satirical counter to the Cockroach Janata Party’s (CJP) ongoing campaign demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
The outfit held a meeting in New Delhi on Sunday, October 18, where its representatives emphasised constitutional values, democratic accountability and responsible public participation. The group reiterated its opposition to the CJP’s demonstrations and stressed the importance of maintaining the independence and credibility of constitutional institutions, including the Election Commission.
The organisation urged young citizens, particularly members of Gen Z, to participate in democratic processes through peaceful protests, fact-based communication and lawful channels. It also called for public discussions on electoral issues to be guided by verified information, transparent procedures and constitutional principles.
The group’s motto is “Nation First, Respect for the Constitution, Democracy as Our Identity.” Its guiding principle is “Strong in Opposition, Peaceful in Action, Committed to the Nation.”
The development comes amid continued demonstrations by the CJP seeking action against CEC Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in electoral processes. The allegations remain contested, with the debate highlighting differing views on electoral accountability and the role of constitutional institutions.
