HYVA COLLIDED WITH TRUCK, DRIVER DIED

ARA------------------------In a tragic road accident on the Ara-Sasaram State Highway near Benua Tola (under the Charpokhari police station area) around 3:30 AM on Monday, 40-year-old Raviranjan Yadav—a resident of Mapwadi village in the Simri police station area of ​​Buxar district—died on the spot.

Regarding the incident, it is reported that early in the morning, the driver of a truck had parked his vehicle on the state highway and was cleaning the windshield. Despite the darkness, the parking lights were not on; consequently, a speeding Hyva truck loaded with sand, coming from the direction of Piro, rammed violently into the rear of a truck already parked on the road.

The impact was so severe that the Hyva was mangled, and its driver, Raviranjan Yadav, was crushed inside the cabin, resulting in his death at the scene.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the local police immediately arrived at the site and, after a strenuous effort, extricated the trapped driver. The police have taken possession of the body, sent it to Sadar Hospital in Ara for a post-mortem examination, and informed the deceased's family about the accident.
