FIVE ARRESTED FOR BEING INTOXICATED

BHABHUA-----------------------------As part of a special campaign to ensure effective compliance with the liquor ban law, the Kudra police arrested five individuals found in an intoxicated state and sent them to judicial custody. This police action has caused a stir among those roaming public places under the influence of alcohol in the area.

All the arrested individuals underwent a medical examination; upon confirmation of alcohol consumption, necessary legal action was initiated against them under the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The arrested individuals include Santosh Kumar (son of Angad Yadav) from Belbhadra village; Dina Ram (son of Sunar Ram), Santosh Chaudhary (son of Hiralal Chaudhary), and Nanku Bind (son of the late Sipahi Bind) from Dhanadhi village under the Kudra police station area. Additionally, Ravindra Kumar (son of Dinesh Ram) from Malhipur village, falling under the Chenari police station area of ​​Rohtas district, was arrested on charges of alcohol consumption.

The Kudra police stated that a continuous campaign is underway to strictly enforce the liquor prohibition law in the district. Stern action will continue against those involved in consuming alcohol in public places, illegal liquor trade, or any alcohol-related activities.

The police have also appealed to the public to immediately report any information regarding the manufacture, sale, smuggling, or consumption of alcohol so that timely action can be taken.

This action by the Kudra police is being viewed as a significant step towards the effective implementation of the liquor prohibition law. The police have asserted that no one violating the law will be spared and that such campaigns will continue in the future.
