SASARAM-----------------------The Karakat police thwarted the plans of criminals who were poised to commit another major crime in the Bikramganj subdivision area. Following a robbery incident within the Karakat police station limits, a police team led by Station House Officer (SHO) Vivek Kumar immediately took charge of the situation. Thanks to the proactive approach and swift strategy of Inspector Vikas Kumar, the police quickly cordoned off the area and arrested three criminals.

According to reports, the criminals had robbed a passerby—who was traveling from Sakhwa Bridge towards Shahari—of his motorcycle, mobile phone, wallet, and cash. After committing the crime, all the accused fled towards Belwai in an Indigo car. Upon receiving the information, the police team swung into action under the instructions of SHO Vivek Kumar. Inspector Vikas Kumar and his team set up blockades on various routes; they intercepted the Indigo car near Dayalganj Bridge and apprehended the three criminals.

During the search, illegal weapons, the looted cash, and other items were recovered from the accused. Meanwhile, the stolen motorcycle was recovered from the home of one of the absconding accused. The police are conducting continuous raids to arrest the absconding accused.

This prompt action by the Karakat police is being appreciated in the area. Locally, Inspector Vikas Kumar is regarded as an active and dynamic police officer. Meanwhile, the police campaign against criminals has intensified due to the sustained, strict measures being taken under the leadership of Station House Officer (SHO) Vivek Kumar.

It is worth noting that just a few days ago, a major robbery involving jewelry worth approximately ₹35 lakh took place in broad daylight at a jewelry shop in Bikramganj. Despite this sensational incident, the police have so far been unable to apprehend the perpetrators or find any concrete leads in the case.
