Awareness Essential for Cancer Prevention: Keshav Chaudhary

Ghaziabad, January 21, 2026 (Agency): A workshop focusing on cancer prevention was recently organized at Vasundhara Hospital, highlighting a disease that has emerged as a serious threat to human life both in India and across the world.
The workshop was organized by the Prabha Rastogi Cancer Research Charitable Foundation and was inaugurated by Additional Police Commissioner of Ghaziabad, Keshav Chaudhary.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Chaudhary emphasized the seriousness of cancer and said that awareness-based programs like these can play a vital role in its prevention. He urged people to actively spread awareness in society.
Also present at the event were Dr. Girijesh Rastogi, Chief Medical Officer of Vasundhara Hospital; Dr. Vinita Rastogi, renowned gynecologist; and Dr. Anil Yadav, District TB Eradication Officer.
Appreciating the efforts of the Foundation, Dr. Yadav stressed that vaccination is extremely important for girls between the ages of 9 and 26 years. Social worker Fakirachand Rustagi encouraged the Foundation’s initiative and announced his support.
Foundation associates Shaili Agarwal, Dr. Smriti Sharma, Kiran, Savita Yadav, Chartered Accountant Shyam Rastogi, Rajiv Berry, Vinay Thomas, Saurabh Pandey, and Aniruddh Vashisht participated enthusiastically in the program.
