PATNA----------------------The Revenue and Land Reforms Department of Bihar Government has started the process of banning the purchase and sale of non-Majrua common land identified on the basis of Khata-Khatiyaan. In this regard, necessary instructions have been issued by the department to all the concerned officers.
According to the issued letter, the list of non-Majrua common land identified mouza-wise by the Revenue and Land Reforms Department will be made available to the Registration Department. The department has clarified that government land will be identified in the districts on the basis of CS, RS, Chakbandi Khatian and Anchal Register. The mouza-wise list prepared at the zonal level will be shared with the registration department so that restrictions can be implemented on these plots in the e-registry system also.
The Revenue and Land Reforms Department has directed all concerned officers to complete this work on priority basis. The department believes that this step will help in effectively stopping illegal buying, selling and encroachment on government and non-Majrua common lands.
