MEETING FOR VEER KUER SINGH VICTORY CELEBRATION

ARA------------------------------A significant meeting regarding the organization of the upcoming Veer Kunwar Singh Vijayotsav (Victory Celebration) was held at the Collectorate Auditorium in Arrah, under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate of Bhojpur, Shri Tanay Sultania.

During the meeting, it was decided that this historic festival would be celebrated as a State function on April 23 and 24, 2026, in a grand and spectacular manner. As part of the festivities, various programs will be organized at the Veer Kunwar Singh Stadium located at Ramna Maidan in Arrah, as well as at the Veer Kunwar Singh Fort Ground within the Jagdishpur subdivision.

The programs will prominently feature a *Prabhat Pheri* (morning procession), flag hoisting at Veer Kunwar Singh Park, lamp lighting and wreath-laying ceremonies, a rendition of the National Anthem by students of the Government Girls' High School (Arrah), a marathon race, and various cultural programs.

Furthermore, a detailed review was conducted regarding arrangements for ambulances and traffic management, sanitation of roads and venue sites, water sprinkling, beautification of the park, cleaning of the pond, and preparations for the cultural programs.

The District Magistrate directed all concerned officials to ensure that all necessary arrangements are completed in a time-bound and systematic manner, so that this festival proves to be a source of pride and inspiration for the residents of the district.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Development Commissioner of Bhojpur, the Sub-Divisional Officer (Arrah Sadar), the Sub-Divisional Officer of Jagdishpur, the Arts and Culture Officer, along with other senior officials.
