According to reports, the police had received information regarding the manufacture and sale of illicit liquor in the locality. Acting on this information... Acting on information, a police team arrived at the Musahar Toli in Tilai village to conduct a raid and destroy a liquor cache. During the operation, the police attempted to detain a woman and take her into custody. At this point, liquor traders and their supporters present at the scene began to protest.
The situation reportedly escalated quickly, and the police team came under a barrage of stones. A police officer was injured in the stone-pelting. Ultimately, the police were forced to release the woman and return empty-handed
