INSTRUCTIONS TO ENSURE SUPPLY OF WATER TO FARMERS

BHABHUA---------------------With the aim of providing timely irrigation facilities to the farmers of Ramgarh region, Honorable MLA Satish Yadav Pintu today inspected Vishwakarma Pump Canal, Tiara Pump Canal and Jaitpura Pump Canal along with the officials of the Irrigation Department. During this, he also took stock of the progress of cleaning the canals.

During inspection, it was found that all three pump canals were in fully operational condition and Jaitpura pump was operating smoothly. At the same time, a huge amount of sand, silt and soil has accumulated in the river near the channel of Vishwakarma and Tiara Pump Canal, due to which there is a possibility of water flow being affected. Besides, the work of cleaning the canals was also found incomplete.

MLA Satish Yadav Pintu, while giving instructions to the officials present on the spot, said that work should be started from tomorrow itself to immediately remove the sand, silt and soil accumulated near the channel of Vishwakarma and Tiara Pump Canal. He also directed to complete the work of cleaning the canals on war footing.

The MLA said that the interests of farmers are paramount and they should get adequate water for irrigation on time. For this, departmental officers have been instructed to complete all the necessary work quickly and maintain the irrigation system smoothly.

He assured that the irrigation system will be continuously monitored to ensure that the farmers of the area do not face any kind of problem.
