Big news is coming from Bhojpur district of Bihar. In Ara, the Commercial Tax Department team conducted a major raid on the premises of several well-known textile businessmen. This action created panic among the businessmen.

According to reports, a special team from Patna, acting on the instructions of the Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Commercial Tax Department, Patna, simultaneously raided the establishments of Pooja Textiles, Anshu Textiles, and Agarwal Textiles, two well-known textile companies in Ara. The team thoroughly inspected both their shops and warehouses.

Sources indicate that these businesses are accused of tax evasion worth crores of rupees. A large quantity of textiles without GST bills was seized during the raid. It is reported that the businesses failed to produce valid bills for the purchase of many items. The Commercial Tax Department team also seized several important documents during the raid, which are being thoroughly investigated.

Nikhil Kumar, an officer involved in the raid, stated that the department received intelligence that some Ara businesses were causing significant tax losses to the government. Based on this information, this action was taken. He also hinted that action may be taken against other businesses in the district in the coming days. The department's investigation is currently ongoing, and the action is likely to continue for several days. The raid has caused panic among business owners in the district.
