BLOOD BUXAR ORGANIZED A BLOOD DONATION CAMP

BUXAR--------------------------Under the aegis of Blood Buxar (Beautiful Life Only on Donating Blood), a blood donation camp and blood donation awareness campaign were organized on the eve of the organization's active blood donor, Nilabh's birthday. The camp began at 10 a.m. at Madhya Lohndi Bhawan, R.N. Path, behind the Municipal Council, Buxar.

The camp was jointly inaugurated by Sadar Sub-Divisional Magistrate Avinash Kumar, Red Cross Chairman Suresh Agarwal, and Dr. Priyanka Pandey. Red Cross Vice President Saurabh Tiwari, Treasurer Deepak Agarwal, Dr. Shatrughan Pandey, and Sumit Mansinghka of Blood Buxar, along with several other dignitaries, were present.

A total of 16 donors—Rishu Jaiswal, Akhilesh Rai, Kumar Gaurav, Praviv Ranjan, Prabhat Kumar, Anoop Kumar, Sanjay Patwa, Mohd. Halim, Ravi Shankar, Vinod Verma, Mohd. Izhar, Mohammed Arif, Deepak Kumar, Jai Prakash Kumar, Vikas Kumar, and Manoj Kumar—voluntarily donated blood.

Sadar Sub-Divisional Magistrate Avinash Kumar said that donating one unit of blood can save the life of a needy person. There is no alternative to blood, so blood donation is truly a great donation and a life-saving gift. Impressed by the work of Blood Buxar, he provided a cash contribution of ₹5,000 and praised the "New Thinking, New Tradition" initiative as a noble step for society. He also assured that the administration will continue to support such noble causes in the future.

Priyesh, the founder-director of Blood Buxar, explained the benefits of blood donation, stating that it helps create new blood cells, reduces the risk of heart disease and cancer, and maintains iron balance in the body. He explained that tests such as blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, hemoglobin, HIV, hepatitis B-C, and syphilis are performed free of charge before and after blood donation, which provides a clear picture of the donor's primary health status.

Expressing gratitude to the administration for their support, Blood Buxar Vice President Ravi Shankar Sharma explained that the organization organizes blood donation camps every month to raise awareness. Under the "Shubharambh - New Thinking, New Tradition" campaign, the tradition of donating blood on auspicious occasions is being promoted to address the blood bank shortage.

On this occasion, all blood donors were honored with mementos and certificates from Blood Buxar, courtesy of Indralok Vani. Blood Buxar's Naseem Nayak, Adil Khan, Prabha Ranjan, Raja Babu, Sumegha Kumari, Ankita Kumari, Nisha Kumari, and Blood Bank's Santosh Kumar, Anurag Kumar, Sahina Samsi, Awadhesh Ji, and Mukesh Kumar, among others, made special contributions to making the camp a success.

The organization stated that this was the first camp of the month, and the next camp will be held on January 20, 2026, in collaboration with the Government of India's National Blood Donation Drive.
