NISHU KUMARI ACHIEVES SUCCESS

ARA--------------------------Ara. Nishu Kumari, a student of Sambhavna Residential High School, has achieved remarkable success at the CBSE East Zone Archery Championship (2026-27). The event was held from July 27 to 30 at Tureen World School in Namkum, Ranchi (Jharkhand), under the aegis of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. She secured the second position in the entire East Zone and the first position within Bihar, winning a silver medal.

Nishu Kumari has also been selected for the national-level competition. To mark this achievement, a felicitation ceremony was organized on Friday at Sambhavna Residential High School, located in Shubh Narayan Nagar, Majhauwa. The event was conducted by senior teacher Arvind Kumar Ojha.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Archana Singh, Principal of Sambhavna School, stated that the CBSE East Zone Archery competition in Ranchi saw participation from students across Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh. A total of six students—two girls and four boys—from Sambhavna School participated in the event.

Nishu Kumari, a Class 10 student, displayed exceptional sporting prowess; she won a gold medal in the 30-meter range, a bronze medal in the 20-meter range, and a silver medal in the 10-meter range. She secured the second position overall in the CBSE East Zone cluster, earning a silver medal. Sambhavna School was the only school from Bihar to win a medal in this championship.

Other students from the school also gained valuable experience by performing well despite challenging conditions. "It is a matter of pride for us that Nishu has been selected for the national archery competition," the Principal said. She encouraged the students to turn their passions into hobbies and work hard, assuring them that success would surely follow. Nishu Kumari has made the entire school proud.

In his vote of thanks, Director Dr. Kumar Dwijendra urged students to participate in sports alongside their academics. He congratulated the entire team for their participation and for demonstrating dedication and hard work. I am confident that Nishu Kumari will continue her efforts; she will undoubtedly bring glory not only to Sambhavna Vidyalaya but also to Bihar at the national level. The school management is proud of her.

It is worth noting that a total of six students from Sambhavna Residential School participated: Nishu Kumari and Kanishk Kumar in the Under-17 category, and Sunny Kumar, Ayushman Sinha, Aryan Sinha, and Jaya Kumari in the Under-14 category. Yoga teacher Shashibhushan and PTI Shilu Kumari served as the coaches.
