ARA--------------------------The Nav Yuvak Sangh Durga Puja Committee of Paharpur, which has been upholding the glorious tradition of worshipping Maa Jagdamba since 1959, remains a focal point of faith and devotion for worshippers. Every year, a large number of devotees—accompanied by their families—arrive at the shrine of 'Maa Manokamna Paharpur Wali' from the surrounding 4–5 km radius, as well as from various villages and towns across the district, to offer prayers. Devotees hold an unwavering belief that wishes made with a sincere heart at the Mother's shrine are invariably fulfilled. The Mother's power is boundless, and Her blessings constitute the greatest strength behind this glorious tradition.

The late Rajnarayan Pandey (Sadhu Ji), a former president, played a pivotal role in this committee's illustrious journey. By shouldering the committee's responsibilities for a long period, he significantly strengthened the tradition of serving and worshipping the Mother. His spirit of service and dedication continues to serve as an inspiration for the committee members today.

Following deliberations involving all villagers, the committee was reconstituted on July 28, 2026. Responsibilities within the new 2026 committee have been assigned as follows: Shri Ramesh Ojha (Patron/Sabhapati), Shri Saurabh Pandey (President), Shri Praveen Kumar Ojha 'Tengari' (Secretary), Shri Sunil Sah (Vice-President), Shri Manji Swarnkar (Treasurer), and Shri Hareram Chaudhary (Deputy Secretary). Additionally, Shri Sitaram Yadav—a former secretary of the committee—has been appointed as the President of the 21-member executive committee.

The reconstitution event was attended by hundreds of committee members and villagers, including the temple's chief priest Acharya Bhaskar Dubey, Mantu Ojha, Yogendra Ojha, Avinash Pandey, Abhishek Pandey ('Chhote'), Dwarika Ojha, Rajendra Chaudhary, former president Shri Bharat Pandey, Chait Sonar, Shivyogi Pandey, Harihar Ojha, Bipin Pandey, and Govind Chaudhary. Everyone expressed happiness over the formation of the new committee, extended their best wishes to the office-bearers, and pledged their full cooperation in the worship of the Mother Goddess and the committee's activities.

Newly appointed President Saurabh Pandey stated that the opportunity to serve at the Mother's sacred shrine was, for him, far more than just a position; it was the Mother's blessing and a supreme privilege. He added that, with the cooperation and guidance of all office-bearers, executive committee members, and villagers, every possible effort would be made to elevate the committee's glorious tradition to an even grander and more organized level.
