Yogeshwar Sharma Welcomes AAP Rajya Sabha MPs to BJP, Slams Party’s ‘Deviated Principles’

Chandigarh/ Panchkula Senior BJP leader Yogeshwar Sharma said that a major shift has emerged in Indian politics today. Several Rajya Sabha MPs from the Aam Aadmi Party — Raghav Chadha, Sandeep Pathak, Ashok Mittal, Harbhajan Singh, Swati Maliwal, Rajendra Gupta, and Vikram Sahney — have taken a historic decision to join the Bharatiya Janata Party after becoming disillusioned with the party’s failed policies and leadership.

Welcoming these leaders into the BJP, Yogeshwar Sharma said that the truth is that the Aam Aadmi Party is no longer “common,” but has become a hub of arrogance, opportunism, and deceptive politics. The party that once claimed honesty and transparency has now turned into a symbol of internal conflict, authoritarian leadership, neglect of promises made to the public, and corruption.
He said that this decision by senior leaders clearly proves that the truth can no longer be hidden. The mask of falsehood and pretence worn by the Aam Aadmi Party has now fallen.
In contrast, under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party has guided the nation with the core principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.” Today, India stands strong on the global stage, and this very confidence is attracting responsible public representatives toward the BJP.
He emphasized that this is not merely a political switch, but a courageous and correct decision taken in the interest of the nation. In the coming time, it will become evident that the public will choose development and nationalism over politics based on illusion and deception.
He concluded by once again welcoming all the new members into the BJP family and expressing confidence that together they will accelerate the mission of nation-building.
