PATNA------------------------An ITBP Sub-Inspector has allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the roof of 'Asian City Hospital,' a private hospital in the capital, Patna. The deceased has been identified as Vijay Singh. A resident of Jalalpur in Chhapra district, Singh was undergoing treatment at the hospital for health-related issues. According to officials, his condition had deteriorated recently.
Sub-Inspector Sujit Kumar of Digha Police Station, who is handling the preliminary investigation, said, "We had received information that the health of ITBP Sub-Inspector Vijay Singh, a resident of Jalalpur (Chhapra), had worsened significantly while undergoing treatment at Asian Hospital. Subsequently, around 12:30 PM today, we were informed that he had committed suicide by jumping from the roof." According to the police, the matter is being investigated.
