BHABHUA-----------------------In view of the upcoming festivals of Eid, Ram Navami, and Chaiti Chhath in the district, a district-level Peace Committee meeting was organized by District Magistrate Pratibha Rani and Superintendent of Police Shubhank Mishra in the conference hall of the Collectorate.

Present at the said meeting were Shivhar Nagar Parishad Chairperson Rajan Nandan Singh, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Avinash Kunal, CDPO Sushil Kumar, Headquarters DSP, Traffic DSP Bhai Bharat Kumar, District Planning Officer, OSD Sandeep Kumar, along with all Block Development Officers, Circle Officers, and concerned Station House Officers. The DM appealed for the upcoming festivals (such as Eid and Ram Navami) to be celebrated in a harmonious and peaceful manner.

While interacting with public representatives, DM Pratibha Rani emphasized the need to maintain communal harmony. She issued strict directives, including a ban on DJs and illegal weapons, as well as increased surveillance of social media and enhanced police patrolling.

Sensitive locations have been identified, and adequate police forces, accompanied by Magistrates, will be deployed at these sites. Directives have been issued to prohibit the use of DJs and loudspeakers. Appeals were also made to maintain brotherhood among different communities and to refrain from spreading or believing in rumors.
