PATNA------------------------Patna Police and the Special Task Force (STF) have achieved a breakthrough. In a joint operation, Pradyumn Kumar—who was on the district's list of the top 10 most wanted criminals—was arrested. According to the police, the accused had been absconding for a long time and faces multiple serious criminal charges, including murder, dacoity, and violations of the Arms Act and the NDPS Act.

A joint team comprising the STF and Patna District Police conducted a special raid based on a tip-off. During the operation, Pradyumn Kumar was apprehended. This arrest is being hailed as a major achievement for the police.

According to the police, the arrested individual, Pradyumn Kumar, is a resident of Oiyara village under the Dhanrua police station area of ​​Patna district. He had been absconding for a long time in connection with Gaurichak Police Station Case No. 878/25, and the police had been searching for him.

Police stated that Pradyumn Kumar is a hardened criminal. A total of eight criminal cases—involving serious charges such as murder, dacoity, and violations of the Arms Act and NDPS Act—are registered against him at various police stations in Patna district.

Police officials say that the arrest of the accused will help in effectively curbing criminal activities in the area. Additionally, interrogation is expected to yield crucial information regarding other cases.
