Sanjeev Mudiraj urged all OBCs rush to Delhi Congress Fight for 42% quota in 9th Schedule
Hyderabad (RNI) TPCC General secretary and In-Charge of SC, ST, OBC & Minority Cells. lambasted the . BJP’s newly appointed Telangana State President and former MLC Ramachandra Rao made a anti BC statement in Delhi dismissing the feasibility of 42% OBC reservation being included in the 9th Schedule of the Constitution, it has triggered widespread outrage among OBCs and leaders across the Telangana.
Senior Congress leaders, OBC ministers, and aste societies have strongly condemned this anti-backward, regressive stand of the BJP. Sanjeev Mudiraj stated in his Media statement
At a time when OBCs are demanding judicious political, educational, and economic representation, the BJP’s betrayal statement of backward classes.
He expressed his anguish.

The AICC OBC Department, under the leadership of Dr Anil Jaihind, is organising the “OBC Leadership "Bhagidari Nyaya Sammelan” on July 25, 2025, at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi. Thousands of OBC representatives from across the India are heading to Delhi to raise their voice for social justice, equity, and constitutional rights.Among the key
demands:Immediate implementation of 42% OBC reservations in Telangana and across states.Inclusion of this quota in the 9th Schedule to protect it from legal challenges.A nationwide caste census to ensure proportional representation in Parliament, Assemblies, jobs, and education.Political empowerment and financial packages for backward communities. Mr Vamshi Krishna,MLA from Achampet and TPCC Vice President in-charge of OBC, SC, ST & Minority Cells, remarked:“BJP’s statement exposes its anti-backward mindset. We, the OBCs of Telangana, are not beggars we are constitutionally entitled stakeholders. The Congress party is the only national platform committed to ensuring our rights are secured in law, not just words.”
Congress’s commitment was further strengthened by public endorsements from BC ministers, former MPs, and OBC rights activists.
