PATNA CIVIL COURT STAYED ARREST OF FAISAL KHAN

PATNA-----------------------Faisal Khan—a prominent figure in the education sector and the head of Khan Global Studies, popularly known as 'Khan Sir'—has received significant legal relief from the Patna Civil Court. Following a hearing on Monday, the court pronounced its order on Tuesday, granting interim protection to Khan Sir.

Under this court order, any form of coercive action by the police against Khan Sir has been stayed for the time being; effectively, the court has halted his arrest. The court has directed the police administration to present Khan Sir's criminal history and the case diary during the next hearing. The next hearing for the matter has been scheduled for June 30.

It is worth noting that the police had registered a case against Khan Sir under serious charges, including attempted murder and provisions of the Arms Act. Khan Sir had not been seen in public since the FIR was lodged; consequently, the police even raided his coaching center in search of him, but he was not found there.

During this period, various speculations were rife. There was conjecture that Khan Sir might surrender in court; however, instead of doing so, he chose to file an anticipatory bail plea through his lawyers. A detailed hearing on his plea took place on Monday, after which the verdict was reserved. The court order received today brings major relief to Khan Sir.
